The electric range of cook-tops includes a ceramic and induction version.
The Induction cook-top takes cooking to the next level. Incorporating a copper wire coil beneath each cooking position which when supplied with an alternating electric current creates an oscillating magnetic field once the metal pot is placed on top producing resistive heating to cook the food.
The required heat is created in an instant and dissipates just as quick which creates a consistent and even heat distribution. Compared to standard cookers the induction cook-top can reduce cooking times by up to 56% and energy consumption by 43%.
